Larry Franklin Walker, 61, Nevada, died Monday, March 21, 2005, at his home. He was born March 14, 1944, in Huntsville, Ark., to Wiley Vernon Walker and Thelma Mae Pullin Walker.

Larry was a friend to all and will be remembered for his talent and love of music. He had retired after many years as a professional hunting guide in the western and northwestern United States and British Honduras. He had played as a professional musician since childhood and loved to teach young people to play. He shared his musical talent for benefits as well as giving lessons, and had played with several local bands in the area in recent times. He was a member of Nevada Eagles Lodge and the Nevada Elks Lodge. He returned to Nevada several years ago following his retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Bryan Walker, Weiser, Idaho, and Travis Walker, Fort Bragg, N.C.; two grandchildren, Lane Walker and Katy Walker, both of Weiser, Ida.; two brothers, Wiley "Pete" Pullin, Kimberly, Idaho, and Vernon Ray Walker, Chouteau, Okla.; three sisters, Clela PuIlin and Linda Moore, both of Nevada, and Kathy Woodruff, Kimberly, Idaho; father, Wiley Walker, Springdale, Ark.; mother, Thelma Pullin, of the home in Nevada; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, March 28, at Newton Burial Park, Nevada, with Mark Mitchell officiating. Friends may call now and until 1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
