Willo V. Dore, 95, Novi, Mich., formerly of Richards, died on March 23, 2005. She was born May 21, 1909, to Virgil Richardson and Audrey (Ware) Richardson at Richards. She graduated from Richards High School in 1927. She married, Ernest Dore, in 1932 in Fort Scott, Kan., at the home of her uncle.

She was a member of the Richards Christian Church, a 4-H Club leader, active in the community, and at the Richards School when her sons attended.

Survivors include two sons, John Dore, of Florida, and Fred Dore of Michigan; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 1, at the Cheney Witt Chapel with the Rev. John Henady officiating. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery in Richards. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cheney Witt Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Richards Christian Church and may be sent to Cheney Witt Chapel, P.O. Box 347, Fort Scott, KS 66701.
