Wilma Nadine Bogart

Wilma Nadine Bogart, 80, Nevada, formerly of Sheldon, died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada, following a lengthy illness.

She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Sheldon, to Benjamin Franklin McWilliams and Grace Long McWilliams. She married Leonard H. Bogart on Aug. 29, 1942, in Nevada, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 6, 1980.

Mrs. Bogart was born and raised in Sheldon and attended Sheldon High School. Most of her life was spent working on the farm with her husband. She also worked at O'Sullivan's in Lamar and Nevada State Hospital for several years.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandy Chism, Moundville; one granddaughter, Tammy Frame, Bronaugh; and one great-granddaughter, Kerenza Frame, Bronaugh. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Arnold, Halbert, James and Delbert McWilliams; and one infant sister, Verla.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, June 13, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with John Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon. Friends may call now and until the hour of service and the family receives friends 7-8 p.m., Sunday, at the funeral home.
