Catherine E. Krall

Catherine E. Krall born Nov. 10, 1911, in Kansas City, Kan., daughter of the late Joseph A. and Arnelia (Plese) Carr, died Nov. 15, 2005, at Moore-Few Care Center in Nevada, Mo.

Catherine was a lifelong member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church on Strawberry Hill in Kansas City, Kan. She married Nicholas J. Krall on June 4,1931. She lived in Kansas City, Kan., until April 2005, when she moved to Nevada, to be closer to her family. She was a homemaker spending most of her life caring for her family while participating in many church and community activities and organizations. After her husband died, she worked for a local florist and then DeGoler's Pharmacy both in Kansas City, Kan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Nicholas J. Krall; sisters, Mary Handier, Amelia Schleicher; brothers Peter, John, and Joseph P, Carr. Survivors include sons, Nicholas A. Krall, Del Mar, Calif., Edward C. Krall, Nevada, and Charles A. Krall, Parsons, Kan; sisters, Frances Williamson and Angeline Breitenstein, both of Kansas City, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Catherine has donated her body to K.U. Medical Center for research. A memorial mass will be scheduled at a later date at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Kansas City, Kan. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
