It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Mrs. Olive E. Wright at the age of 94 years, Olive was the beloved mother of Susan McBeth and mother-in-law of Judge Jerry McBeth of Nevada. She moved to Nevada from Macon, Mo., in 2003, to live at Culpepper Place to be closer to them. Early in 2005, as her health failed, she moved to Christian Health Care. Funeral services will be held on Monday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, 301 E. Highland, Nevada, under the direction of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada. Dr. William Cox and the Rev. Hubert Fox will officiate. Interment will be held at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov. 29. in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Macon, Mo.

Her devoted husband of 60 years, Gordon D. Wright of Macon, her sister, Ilene Nelson of Sun City, Ariz., and sister, Nita Franklin of Osage Beach, Mo., preceded Olive in death.

Olive is survived by her daughter, Susan McBeth and husband Jerry; granddaughters Chesley Thomas and husband Matt Kudlacz, Blake Wandesforde and husband Alistair; and two great-grandchildren, Louise and Gordon Wandesforde.

Olive had a rich life full of the things she loved; music, bridge, gardening, her church, reading, tennis, swimming, friends, and most of all her family. She will be deeply missed.

Memorial donations in memory of Olive may be made to the Nevada Public Library or the First Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
