Georgia Ruth Goldsby, 93, of Marshall, Mo., died Saturday, Jan. 21, 2006, at Mar-Saline Manor in Marshall.

Born March 13, 1912, in Lafayette County, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Orin A. Albin and Lillie Bessie Hackett Albin. On Jan. 14, 1928, she married Roy W. Goldsby, who preceded her in death in 1992.

She had lived in Marshall since 1993, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Marshall. She had been employed at International Shoe Company in Boonville and the hospital in Fayette, Mo.

Survivors include two daughters, Wanda M. Root of Marshall and Darlene I. Fisher of Nevada, Mo.; two grandchildren, Larry Fisher and wife, Ginny, and Linda McGinnis and husband, John; five great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Orin A. Albin Jr. of Huntsville, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a great-great-granddaughter, Kendall Paige Brown, a son-in-law, George W. Fisher, and a sister in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 25, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Dr. N. Paul Callahan and the Rev. Wayne Doolin officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens Cemetery in Marshall. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Marshall.
