Pansy Imogene Rose, 81, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at Barone Alzheimer's Care Center in Nevada, following an illness of several months. She was born on Dec. 10, 1924, in Overton, Mo., to Herman Henry Kosfeld and Altha Jane Rentschler Kosfeld.

Pansy was born and reared in Boonville, Mo., and spent her youth there. She came to Vernon County as a young adult and spent the rest of her life here. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church, Nevada, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, Gary Rose, Nevada, and Timothy Rose, Springfield, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Kimberlin and Rebekah Brown, both of Springfield; three granddaughters; four grandsons; one great-granddaughter; three great-grandsons; one brother, Samuel Kosfeld, Boonville; five sisters, Mary Ann Fenten, Brookie McDowell, Anneta Hansett, Dottie Gerhardt, all of Boonville, and Carolyn Sue Berry, Spring Valley, Calif.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two infant daughters; one sister; and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Monday, Sept. 18, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Jerry Pyle officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Cemetery, Vernon County, Mo. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Bible Baptist Church of Nevada or Barone Alzheimer's Care Center in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
