Heather Michelle Robinson

Heather Michelle Robinson, age 34, was born Jan. 2, 1973, in Nevada, Mo., and passed from this life on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at her grandmother's home in Nevada, after a long battle with cancer. She was the daughter of Debra Sue (Loyd) Keely and Robert Allen Goodman.

She spent nearly all of her life in Schell City, Mo., graduating with the class of 1991. She attended Cottey College for a short time, then on June 7, 1992, she was united in marriage to her high school sweetheart Michael Lee Robinson. To their union one daughter was born. Heather was a member of the Schell City Christian Church. She always enjoyed working with crafts, and loved her dogs and cats.

Survivors include her husband and daughter, Mike and Michelle of the home in Scheil City; her parents, Debra and Dean Keely and his son of Granbury, Texas, and Robert and Valerie Goodman and their two daughters of Kearney, Mo.; her brother, Jared Goodman and his wife Christy and their children, Cayla, Logan, Brice, and Jackson of Schell City; her grandparents, Leva Loyd and Rex Goodman both of Nevada, and Bill and Sue Burk of Kansas City, Mo.; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Heather was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Fred Loyd; grandmothers, Fern Goodman and Louise Goodman and her beloved stepfather, Steven Giangreco.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 am., on Wednesday, July 11, at the Schell City Christian Church in Schell City, with Tim Brewer officiating. Musical selections were provided by Sharon Goodman and Diane Eslinger. Pallbearers were Billy Luther, Sam Morgan, Joe Luther, Jason Gerster, Quenlin Goodman, and Jim Chandler. Honorary pallbearers were Jared Goodman, Eddie Hardy, Bobby Luther, Mark McCoy and Mark McClure. Interment was in the Green Mound Cemetery in Harwood, Mo.

A memorial fund has been established for Heather's daughter Michelle at the Farmers State Bank in Schell City.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
