Brandon Spaur - Heather Hurt
Jim and Barbara Hurt of Pittsburg, Kan., announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Hurt, to Brandon Spaur, son of William and Debbie Spaur, Nevada, Mo.
Heather, a graduate of Frontenac High School, holds a bachelor of business administration degree and a master's degree in business administration from Pittsburg State University. She is employed by the Crawford County Clerk's Office as the Deputy County Clerk.
Brandon, a graduate of Nevada High School, received a Bachelor of Science in Commercial Graphics and Print Management from Pittsburg State University. He is employed by the Crawford County Appraiser's Office as the computer operator.
The couple is also employed as adjunct instructors at Fort Scott Community College.
The wedding will take place on Dec. 22, 2007, at the United Methodist Church in Frontenac, Kan. A honeymoon to Italy is planned in the summer.
