Brandon and Haley Mahurin

Haley Renee Williams and Brandon Guy Mahurin were married on May 12, 2007, in an outdoor ceremony at Rosey's Cabin in Uniontown.

Haley is the daughter of Brian and Terri Williams, Fort Scott, and the granddaughter of Bob and Lois Williams and C.W. and Julia Ann Rhoton. Brandon is the son of David and Shirlene Mahurin, Parsons, Kan., and the grandson of Edna Mahurin and William and Betty Altis.

Joe Perkins, pastor, presided at the wedding.

The bride wore a white satin gown that featured a strapless bodice with beading and embroidery, a flowing skirt and chapel-length train. She carried a bouquet of hot pink roses.

The bridesmaids wore tea-length raspberry dresses and carried bouquets of white and hot pink roses.

Heather Williams, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Monica Reed, Elizabeth Smith, friends of the bride, and Audrey Mahurin, sister-in-law of the groom, were bridesmaids.

David "Sonny" Mahurin, brother of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Robert Kimzey, Jeriah Whitecraft, friends of the groom, and Nathan Williams, brother of the bride.

Abigayle Mahurin, niece of the groom, was the flower girl, and Seth Mahurin, nephew of the groom, was the ring bearer.

Eric Chapel, Brett Dunbar, Anthony Hsu and Tinh Le, friends of the groom, seated the guests.

Lindsey Ingram and Leslie Rhoton, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book and Amanda Smilie, friend of the bride, attended the gift table.

Melissa Perkins played the processional of "Air on a G String" and "Canon in D."

The pastor presented the wedding message and officiated the exchange of vows and rings. The couple then pledged their unity with a sand ceremony while Doug Whitecraft sang "I will be Here."

The couple spent their wedding night at the Lyons mansion before honeymooning in Mexico.

Haley is a 2007 graduate of Kansas University School of Pharmacy and currently is employed by Pitt County Medical Center in Greenville, N.C. Brandon is a 2007 graduate of Kansas City School of Medicine and Biosciences and is currently a resident at Pitt County Medical Center in Greenville, N.C.
