Molly Yokley, 88, of Moundville, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2008, at Christian Health Care, in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. She was born on Jan. 24, 1920, in Wansford Yorkshire, England, to James Cherry Aconley and Ann Story Aconley.

Molly grew up in England. She served in the British Royal Air Force as a nurse in World War II, at which time she met Charles E. Yokley. Following the war she came to the United States and was married to Charles on March 4, 1947, in Clinton, Mo. They settled on the family farm near Moundville, Mo., which she and Charles farmed for many years. Following Charles' death in 1967, she continued on as "caretaker of the land." Molly also was employed at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, for a number of years. She was a member of the All Saints Episcopal Church.

Survivors include one son, Charles Wayne Yokley and his wife Brenda, of Joplin; one daughter, Christine DeBoutez and her husband Randy, of Nevada; daughter-in-law, Vicky Littlefield; seven grandchildren, Ryan James Yokley, Colby Daniel Yokley and his wife Kasie, Bradley Wayne Yokley and his wife Laura, Alicia Dawn Reynolds and her husband Kurt, Vanessa Lea DeBoutez, Alyson Nichole DeBoutez, and Loren Charles DeBoutez and his wife Ashley; two great-grandchildren, Makenna Lynn Yokley and Cadence Grace DeBoutez; four brothers, Alan Aconley, Lawrence Aconley, Basil Aconley, and Robin Aconley, all of England; six sisters, Joan Byas, Annie Aconley, Edith Barroclough, Grace Scales, and twin sisters, Jean and Margaret Aconley, all of England. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James Geoffrey Yokley, on Oct. 7, 1998, her parents, and two brothers, Geoffrey and Robert Aconley.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., on Thursday, March 6, at the All Saints Episcopal Church, in Nevada, with father Frank Sierra officiating. Interment will follow in Worsley Cemetery, in Bronaugh. Friends may call now and until 1 p.m., Thursday, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, The family receives friends from 4 to 5 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
