May 2

There was a report of an animal bite on the 1000 block of north Clay, made by David Belcher, of Nevada. He reported being bitten by a dog; the dog is under observation.

May 3

An accident occurred at 8:32 a.m., at Maple and Elizabeth, involving a SUV driven by Ann M. Kurdi, of Nevada, and a car driven by Gary G. Lunkenheimer, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 3:45 p.m., at Hickory and Lee, involving a van driven by Randall D. Akers, of Nevada, and a parked SUV owned by Peggy S. Seitz, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

May 4

There was a report of a stolen vehicle on the 200 block of east Allison, made by Albert Newton, of Nevada. He reported a 1991 Oldsmobile Regency stolen; vehicle was recovered later by Vernon County Sheriff's Office.

There was a report of a burglary on the 1100 block of north Elm, made by Melissa Lane, of Nevada. Items stolen were: video games, drums, microphone and two guitars.
