Diane and Kirby Sparks

Kirby Sparks, a former Nevada resident, and Diane Louise Hamil exchanged wedding vows in a candlelight ceremony on Dec. 29, 2007, at Dr. Martin Lutheran Church, in Muskegon, Mich.

The Rev. Dennis Stroh officiated the ceremony. Dawn Snyder, sister, served as maid of honor. James Sparks, brother, served as best man. Ushers were brothers-in-law Jack Snyder and Carl Gold. Nancy Gibson provided the organ music; Joy Stanley was the singer.

A wedding reception was held in The Grill Room in Grand Haven, Mich.

The couple honeymooned in the Hawaiian Islands.

The groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Amos and Anna Sparks, former Nevada residents. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anne and Richard Hamil, of Muskegon.
