Police Reports - July 4-8

July 4

An accident occurred at 11:38 a.m., at the Fuel Mart Parking lot, involving a parked tractor/trailer owned by CRST Van Expedited, of Oklahoma City, Okla., and an unknown vehicle. No injuries were reported.

July 5

An accident occurred at the Wal-Mart parking lot, involving a parked van owned by Jackie and Melvin Klotz, of Nevada, and an unknown vehicle. No injuries were reported.

July 6

There were report ot a stolen vehicle in the 500 block of south Jefferson, made by the city of Nevada. A 1995 Chevrolet S-10 was reported stolen. Vehicle was recovered by Vernon County Sheriff's Department and retured to the owner.

There was a report of a burglary in the 1100 block of east Austin, made by Pizza Hut, in Nevada. Money was reported stolen.

There was a report of a burglary on the 100 block of south Prewitt, made by Tim's Muffler, of Nevada. Money was reported stolen.

July 8

An accident occurred at 11:26 a.m., at Cash 'N' Dash No. 3 parking lot, involving a car driven by Georgia M. Ortlip, of Nevada, and a gas pump owned by Cash 'N' Dash No. 3. No injuries were reported.
