Feb. 19

There were reports of a careless and imprudent driver in the El Dorado Springs area, a suspicious vehicle in the Richards area, a controlled burn in the Sheldon area, a controlled burn in the Richards area, a 911 transfer in the Nevada area, a controlled burn in the Horton area, an ambulance request in the Richards area, a vehicle vs. deer in the Bates County area, and cows out in the Walker area.

Amanda N. Sandoval, 18, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of harassment. She was released on her own recognizance.

Feb. 21

There were reports of a traffic stop in the Nevada area, a traffic stop in the Walker area, a drunk driver in the Moundville area, a controlled burn in the Deerfield area, vandalism in the Nevada area, a burnt pickup in the Bates County area, a grass fire in the Metz area, a domestic dispute in the Nevada area, a vehicle accident in the Nevada area, a structure fire in the Bates County area, and a possible drunk driver in the Nevada area.

Shannon C. Culbertson, 29, of Springfield, was arrested and processed by the Vernon County Sheriff's Office on charges of nonsupport. He is being held in lieu of a $5,500 bond.

Thomas O. Easley, 45, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of nonsupport. He is being held in lieu of a $4,500 bond.

William E. Swarnes, 22, of Rich Hill, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of failure to appare for a traffic violation. He was released on a $612 bond.

Keasha B. Arbuckle, 21, of Nevada, was arrested and processed by the Nevada Police Department on charges of possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was released on a $1,000 bond.19
