Ruth Anita Frazee

Ruth Anita Frazee, 69, Nevada, passed away on March 30, 2009, at Barton County Memorial Hospital, Lamar, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 22, 1939, in Elkhorn, Wis., to Andrew Nelson and Helen Marie Shufelt Nelson.

She married John Frazee on July 11, 1978, in Rich Hill, Mo., and he survives of the home.

Ruth was born in Wisconsin and reared in Michigan. She came to this area in 1978 and has resided here since. Ruth worked as an LPN at Barton County Memorial Hospital for 11 years. She attended the Pentecostal Assembly in Nevada.

In addition to her husband John, she is survived by three sons, Alan Dorrough, Chesapeake, Va., Donald Dorrough, Springfield, Ill., and Eddie Frazee, Martinsburg, Penn.; three daughters, Kathy Rahe, Jacksonville, Ill., Tish Langford, Cedar Creek, Mo., and Tammy Crews, Springfield, Mo.; 15 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one sister, Dorothy Button, Hebron, Ill. She was preceded in death by one brother, Butch Nelson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.

Memorials may be given to the Barton County Memorial Hospital in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
