The bride to be is the daughter of Tim Ater, Nevada, and Kathy and Randy Boatwright, Fort Scott. Casey is the granddaughter of Lois and Wayne Houston, Richards, the late Jean and Ivan Duncan, Fort Scott, the late Merl Dorsey, Fort Scott, Nellie Ater and the late Ivan Ater, Arma. She is a 2001 graduate of Fort Scott High School and a 2003 graduate of Fort Scott Community College. She is employed by Valu Merchandisers in Fort Scott.

The groom to be is the son of Gina Holt, Fort Scott, and Russ Holt, Overland Park. Corey is the grandson of Dick and Donna Sullivan, Belton, and Carol Holt and the late Don Holt, Fort Scott. He is a 2003 graduate of Fort Scott High School and 2009 graduate of Pittsburg State University with a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering technology.

A private reception will be held for friends and family following the ceremony at the Liberty Theatre.
