An accident occurred at 1:05 p.m., at the library parking lot, involving a car driven by Martha S. Wood, of Nevada, and a pickup driven by Samantha J. Francis, of Richards. No injuries were reported.

There was a report of a burglary on the 1400 block of east Austin, made by Derrick Brown, of Nevada. He reported a television, Playstation, game controller, game, and sheets stolen.
