Frances E. Townson

Frances E. Townson, 86, of Bedford, N.H., died Jan. 8, 2010, at her residence after a brief illness.

She was born in Iantha, Mo., Nov. 11, 1923, the daughter of Bert and Carrie (King) Wilkinson. She lived in Bronaugh most of her life and had been a resident of New Hampshire since 2003.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Raymond D. Townson, who died Sept. 18, 2009.

Family members include her son, Denny R. Townson, of Amherst, N.H.; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours.

Services are private with burial in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, N.H.
