March 23

An accident occurred at 12:44 p.m., at U.S. 71 Highway and Barrett, involving a car driven by Margi L. Johnson, of Nevada, and a car driven by Roberta S. Lawler, of Milo. Both drivers were listed with evident, but not disabling, injuries. The accident occurred as the westbound Johnson vehicle was making a left hand turn onto Barrett and the Lawler vehicle was traveling eastbound.

An accident occurred at 3:06 p.m., at Commercial and Cherry, involving a pickup driven by Ronald B. Marquardt, of Nevada, and a parked car owned by Raegan A. Erickson, of Butler. No injuries were reported.

March 26

An accident occurred at 2:40 p.m., at 1519 E. Austin, involving an SUV driven by Thromone D. Smith, of St. James, La., and a post. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 3:42 p.m., at Walnut and Tucker, involving a pickup driven by Dawn M. Dowty, of Nevada, and a parked pickup owned by Arthur L. Elkin, of Lee's Summit, Mo. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 9:18 p.m., at Cedar and Ashland, involving an unknown vehicle and a parked car owned by Gwen Sawyer, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

March 29

An accident occurred at 12:42 p.m., at Ashland and Olive, involving a car driven by Sallie L. Steve, of Nevada, and a car driven by Barbara A. Hamilton, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

A burglary was reported in the 1400 block of West Cherry, made by Marsha Harper, of Nevada. She reported a footlocker and contents stolen.

A burglary was reported in the 700 block of South Meadow Lane, made by Amy Williams, of Nevada. She reported a gaming system and beverages stolen.

March 31

An accident occurred at 12:42 p.m., involving a bicycle ridden by Tina F. Doty, of Nevada, and a car driven by Audrey D. Daniels, of Moundville. The eastbound bicycle struck the southbound car at the southeast corner of the intersection.

An accident occurred at 6:30 p.m., on U.S. 54 Highway and U.S. 71 Highway, involving an SUV driven by Trisha R. Ricketts, of Milo, and a car driven by Ervin McCurdy, of Urich, Mo. David Fisher, of Nevada, a passenger in the Ricketts vehicle was listed with probable, but not apparent, injuries. The Ricketts' vehicle was traveling southbound in the process of making a left-hand turn. The Fisher veihcle was traveling eastbound at the intersection.
