May 18

An accident occurred at 10:39 a.m., at Allison and Elizabeth, involving a car driven by Tyler J. Edwards, of Nevada, and a parked car owned by Jordan O'Neal, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

An accident occurred at 1:20 p.m., at U.S. 54 Highway and Washington, involving an SUV driven by Sandra L. Stevenson, of Nevada, and a car driven by Rick A.J. Stafford, of Nevada. No injuries were reported.

May 19

A theft was reported in the 1100 block of North Elm, called in by Steve Boyd, of Nevada. He reported a beauty ring stolen.

May 20

An accident occurred at 9:04 p.m., at Wal-Mart's parking lot, when a pedestrian, Zachary P. Templeton, fell against a pickup driven by Timothy S. Dowty, of Nevada. Templeton received evident, but not disabling injuries.

May 21

An accident occurred at 3:59 p.m., at U.S. 54 Highway, and Subway, involving a car driven by Jonathan D. Roper, of Springfield, and a pickup driven by Mark K. Beason, of El Dorado Springs. The accident occurred as the Roper vehicle was traveling eastbound on U.S. 54 Highway collided with the Beason vehicle that was crossing U.S. 54 highway from Subway to the fairgrounds. Roper was listed with evident, but not disabling injuries. Beason was listed with probable, but not apparent injuries. Christopher J. Monahan, of Springfield, a passenger in the Roper vehicle was listed with evident, but not disabling injuries.

An accident occurred at 10:38 a.m., at 830 N. Missouri Drive, involving a car driven by Kizzi C. Pace, of Nevada, and a pedestrian, Christopher Morgan, of Milo. Morgan was listed with probable but not apparent injuries. The accident occurred as the Pace vehicle was backing out of the driveway and hit Morgan.

May 23

A theft was reported in the 600 block of East Hickory, called in by Jason Chubick, of Nevada. He reported a toolbox and tools stolen.

A burglary was reported in the 100 block of East Garfield, called in by Cody Hendrix, of Nevada. He reported two guns stolen.

A burglary was reported in the 800 block of North Clay, called in by Cecil Painter, of Nevada. He reported two knives stolen.

May 24

A burglary was reported in the 200 block of West Hickory, called in by Mickey Mason, of Nevada. He reported various tools stolen.

A theft of an animal was reported in the 1000 block of North Commercial, called in by Zachary Hendren, of Nevada. He reported a dog stolen.

A petty theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of East Lincoln, called in by Drew Shepherd, of Nevada. He reported fishing equipment stolen.

A petty theft from a motor vehicle was reported in the 2000 block of North Elm, called in by Heather Bechtle, of Nevada. She reported a bank card stolen.

An accident occurred at 10:45 a.m., at Nevada Chiropractic, involving an SUV driven by Donald E. Chadd, of Nevada, and a car driven by Larry J. Toole, of El Dorado Springs. No injuries were reported.
