Rosemary "Rosie" Brundridge, 74, Nevada, passed away Thursday, Aug. 5, 2010, at the Kansas University Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born Aug. 13, 1935, in Nevada, to John Raymond Harden and Willa Rose Edison Harden. She was married Feb. 1, 1953, in Nevada to Vernon Brundridge and he survives of the home.

Rosie was born in Nevada and grew up in Walker, Mo., graduating from Walker High School in 1953. She and her husband, Vernon, resided in Joplin, Mo., for a brief time before returning to Vernon County and spending the remainder of her life here. She loved to camp and hunt. She was loved by her family and that love was returned in full.

In addition to her husband, Vernon, survivors include two sons, Kenny Brundridge and his wife Nita, Moundville, Mo., and Larry Brundridge and his wife, Teresa, Concordia, Kan.; two daughters, Denise Todd and her husband, Regar, Nevada, and Jo Brundridge, of the home; grandchildren, Cory and Mindy Brundridge, Travis Brundridge, Kyle Brundridge, Tara Kiest, Brandon Brundridge, Curtis Brundridge, Trey Todd, and Sherry Todd; two great-grandchildren, Julia and Jada Brundridge; three sisters, Gladys Newby, and Margarette Kitsmiller, both of Nevada, and Aletha Koppa, Bonner Springs, Kan.; four brothers, Allen Harden, Walker, Dutch Harden, Eldon, Mo., Darrell Harden, and Donnie Harden, both of Nevada; and a host of dear friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Charles Harden.

Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Aug. 9, at the Church of Christ church in Nevada, with Bud Tibbles officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Walker.

Friends may call now and until 8 p.m., Sunday, and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday between 7 and 8 p.m.
