Ada Hall

Ada Hall, 56, Lamar, Mo., passed away on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, at Barton County Memorial Hospital in Lamar, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born Sept. 10, 1954, in Nevada, to Oliver D. Burris and Betty Jean McCune Burris. She married Jessie Hall on March 22, 1974, in Milo, Mo., and he survives of the home.

Ada was born and raised in the Milo area and graduated from El Dorado Springs High School. She worked at various restaurants in the area as well as Key clothing for a time.

Survivors in addition to her husband, Jessie, include one son, James Walter Hall, Nevada; one daughter, Casey Taylor, Golden City, Mo.; five grandchildren; six sisters, Betty, Joyce, Diane, Jackie, Linda and Karen. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Michelle McCormick, and one grandchild, Amanda Taylor.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 27, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
