Agatha Arlene Green

Agatha Arlene Green, 62, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at her home in Nevada. She was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Halo, Texas, to Henry Elton and Muriel Dean Witte. She married Fred Green in 1993 in Carrabelle, Fla., and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Agatha lived in Texas until moving to Missouri at the age of seven. She graduated from Nevada High School in 1966. She lived in Kansas City for a number of years before returning to Nevada where she worked at Farm and Home Savings, Nevada State Hospital, and 3M from 1983-1992. She lived and worked for Fugate Motors in El Dorado Springs, Mo., from 1994-2008 when she retired. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother. She had lived in Nevada for the past three years.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Coonrod and her husband, Jeff, Nevada; four grandchildren, Marlina Coonrod, MaLani Coonrod, Dylan Coonrod and Dakota Stigall; one sister, Kay Arbuckle, Carrabelle, Fla.; one nephew, Shannon Arbuckle and his wife, Lisa, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; and one niece, Christy Arbuckle, Orrick, Mo. She was preceded in death by one nephew, Dustin Kenneth Arbuckle.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 10, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Dr. William Cox officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
