April 7
Ron Cargill reported a theft in the 600 block of East Atlantic Street. Items stolen were: 2005 Nort 16-foot flatbed trailer with license number XKM888, and miscellaneous tools.
Heather Graham reported a theft from a motor vehicle in the 600 block of East Maple Street. Item stolen was a gold ring.
April 8
2:58 p.m.: An accident occurred at West Street and U.S. 54 Highway when a car driven by Stephan E. Householder, Bronaugh, Mo., swerved and came to rest in a yard. No injuries were reported.
April 9
Kyle Schulze reported a vehicular theft in the 1400 block of West Austin Boulevard. Item stolen was a red 1994 Mazda extended cab pickup.
April 10
9:57 p.m.: An accident occurred at West and Adams streets when a car driven by Shae D. Malcom, Nevada, struck a tree. Malcom suffered evident, but not disabling injuries.
April 11
11:47 a.m.: An accident occurred at Ramey's Supermarket involving a pickup owned by Troy E. Leer, Sheldon, Mo., and an unknown vehicle. Accident is still under investigation.
7:59 p.m.: An accident occurred at U.S. 54 and Business 71 highways involving a pickup driven by Walter J. Koshko, Schell City, Mo., and a pickup driven by Kevin R. Downum, Nevada. No injuries were reported.
April 12
4:57 p.m.: A four-vehicle accident occurred at U.S. 54 Highway and College Street involving a semi driven by Bradley S. Decker, Nevada, a SUV driven by Mary J. Beeman, Nevada, a van driven by Charles E. Naas, Nevada, and a pickup driven by Roy W. Marchant, Nevada. Beeman suffered injuries.
1:38 p.m.: An accident occurred at Allison and Oak streets involving a car driven by Donna J. Newton, Nevada, and a SUV owned by William A. Newton, Jefferson City, Mo. No injuries were reported.

11:25 a.m.: An accident occurred at Wal-Mart involving a semi driven by Steven H. Almond, Fort Scott, Kan., and a car owned by Christy Gerling, Nevada. No injuries were reported.
Kyle Schulze reported a petty theft from a motor vehicle in the 1400 block of West Austin Boulevard. Item stolen was a Sony car radio.

Jonathan Richards reported a petty theft in the 700 block of North Clay Street. Item stolen was a lawn mower.

Clarence Langdon reported a burglary in the 600 block of East Central Street. Items stolen were: Bedding and medication.
