Robert Fredrick Cummins

Robert Fredrick Cummins, 51, Nevada, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Freeman Health System West, Joplin, Mo. He was born on March 1, 1960, in Bonner Springs, Kan., to Steven F. Cummins and Betty Lou Meisenheimer Cummins. Bob married Geneva (King) Cummins on Nov. 29, 2002, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

Bob grew up in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School in 1979. He worked in commercial construction his whole life. He was a member of the BPOE Nevada Elks Lodge No. 564, the Nevada Eagle's Aeire Lodge No. 3770 and the Local 63 Pipefitters Union, Springfield, Mo. Bob was an organ donor.

Survivors in addition to his wife, Geneva, include one daughter, Andria, Gentry, Ark.; three halfbrothers, Sean Scism, Gainsville, Fla., Jearl Brent Scism, Gainsville, Fla., and Jim Scism, Gainsville, Fla.; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, a host of friends and his three faithful dogs, Boomer, Bells and Missy. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Danny Cummins and Kelly Scism; and his stepfather, Jearl Scism.

It was Bob's wishes to be an organ donor and following cremation no services were to be held, which the family has respected at this time.
