Delores Lee (Weaver) Davis, 84, of Nevada, passed away Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, in Moore-few Care Center, Nevada.

She was born May 24, 1927, in Seligman, Mo., the daughter of L.F. "Buck" and Blanche (Roller) Weaver. In 1945, she was united in marriage to Lee Wayne Reed and to this union two children were born. In 1965, she married Dr. Braxton Davis, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one sister, Shirlene Voegle.

Surviving are her two children, Barry Reed of Nevada, and Debi Hill and her husband, David, of Rock Island, Ill. She had two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Delores grew up in Barry County and received her education at Cassville, graduating from Cassville High School with the Class of 1945. She was very active in high school and was an excellent tennis player. In 1953, she moved from Cassville to Nevada, where she was a housewife and medical assistant. She was of the Pentecostal Faith and a member of Business and Professional Women's Association. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed traveling.

No services are scheduled at this time. Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
