David Merril Tetrick

David Merril Tetrick, 82, Tulsa, Okla., died Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2011, at Select Specialty Hospital in Tulsa, Okla., following an illness of several weeks. He was born April 24, 1929, in Springfield, Mo., to James Walter Tetrick and Mary Ann McDowell Tetrick.

Mr. Tetrick was born in Springfield and grew up in that area. He made his living as a farmer in Lawrence County, Mo. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He has resided in the Tulsa, Okla., area since 1979.

Survivors include five sons, Stephen M. Tetrick, Schenectady, N.Y., James Willis Tetrick, Tulsa, Okla., David Tetrick, Bolivar, Mo., Mathew J. Tetrick, Tulsa, Okla., and Thomas G. Tetrick, Castle Rock, Colo.; two daughters, Mary S. Tetrick, Springfield, Mo., and Karen L. Witt, Pueblo, Colo.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 11, at Welborn Cemetery, Moundville, Mo.
