James Allen Middleton Jr.

James Allen Middleton Jr., 40, Sheldon, Mo., passed away on Friday, March 30, 2012, at Nevada Regional Medical Center, Nevada, following a sudden illness. He was born Feb. 20, 1972, in Farmington, Mo., to James Allen Middleton and Sharron Marie Stamm Middleton. He married Sue Ann Hites on March 10, 2002, in Greenfield, Mo., and she survives of the home.

James was born in Farmington, Mo., and lived in a variety of locales as a youth. He graduated from Schell City High School in 1990. He worked for Kodiak Trailers in Lockwood for a number of years, as well as being a machine operator at O'Sullivan Industries for a time. His most recent employment had been with Direct TV. He was an avid hunter and also had a love of motorcycles and guns.

Survivors include his wife, Sue Ann, of the home; five children, Austin Middleton, Micheala Middleton, Kit Hites, Nicole Hites and Shyler Middleton, all of the home; his mother, Sharron Middleton, Desloge, Mo.; one sister, Candice Dill, Lamar; three brothers, Matthew Middleton, Bonne Terre, Mo., Joey Middleton, Farmington, Mo., and Bud Middleton, state of California; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Middleton.

Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 2, at Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
