Anna Lee Ogle, 90, Nevada, passed away on Monday May 21, 2012, at Moore-Few Care Center, Nevada. She was born Sept. 3, 1921, in Bates County, Mo., to Oscar Lee Meyer and Cammie Emma Morgan Meyer. She married Allen Applegate on Sept. 3, 1938, in Nevada. She later married Charles Walker "C.W." Ogle on July 26, 1962, in Schell City, Mo., and he preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 1994.

Anna was born and raised in Bates County, Mo. She was primarily a homemaker and loving mother, but she also worked at numerous jobs including, Pokorny Drugstore, Kress five and dime store, Cottey College, and Nevada State Hospital. She and C.W. owned and operated Quick Clean Laundry in Nevada for nine years. Anna was a member of the Community Christian Church of Nevada. She loved cats including hers and anyone else's.

Survivors include one son, Gale Applegate and friend, Georgia Woodley, Caldwell, Idaho; five grandchildren; 10 stepgrandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Ardith Fleishman, Kansas City, Mo.; and one brother, Billy Bob Meyer and his wife, Dorothy, Joplin, Mo. She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, C.W. Ogle; son, Jim Applegate; and one infant brother, Oscar Meyer Jr.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, May 25, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with the Rev. Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Green Mound Cemetery, Harwood, Mo.

Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada and the family will receive friends at the funeral home, Friday, between 9-10 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
