Holly Lee Jones

Holly Lee Jones was born Aug. 16, 1971, in Nashville, Tenn. She and her family moved to Rockville, Mo., in 1982.

Holly graduated from Appleton City High School in 1990. She attained her LPN license and worked for several years at Bates County Memorial Hospital. Holly was attending Fort Scott Community College and six weeks away from her RN license when her accident occurred. Holly had been residing at Truman Healthcare and Rehab in Lamar, Mo., for the last five years. Holly gave up her long fight on July 19.

She is survived by her mother, Nancy Jones of Rockville, Mo.; brother, Scott Jones of San Francisco, Calif.; and her maternal grandmother, LeLoie (BoBo) Brewer of Sheridan, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her father, Randy Jones; paternal grandparents, Tom and Rose Marie Jones; and maternal grandfather, O.H. (Buck) Brewer.

Funeral services for Holly Lee Jones were held at 10 a.m., Monday, July 23, at the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City, Mo., with the Rev. Paul Thorade officiating. Musical selections were "Angels Among Us" and "When I Get Where I'm Going." Pallbearers were Chris McAfee, James Dulin, Gene Rotert, Jeff Dulin, Dave Rotert, Ron Sturdy, Enrique Martinez and Troy Lasley. Interment was in the Green Lawn Cemetery in Schell City, Mo.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Lewis-Hoagland Funeral Home in Schell City.
