InaMay Allison, 71, of Oak Grove, Mo., passed away, Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at her residence. Cremation is planned with a memorial service to be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 27, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Donations may be made to Vitas Hospice. The family will greet friends from 1 p.m., until service time Thursday at the chapel.

InaMay was born Dec. 17, 1940, in Horton, Mo., to Orville T. and Floy M. (Reynolds) Rynard. She graduated from high school in Metz, Mo., in 1958. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker, who enjoyed gardening and bird watching.

She was married to Jerry Allison on May 30, 1958; he survives her of the home. Other survivors include; a son, Gary Allison and wife, Linda, Garden City, Mo.; a daughter, Cheryl Call of Independence, Mo.; a sister, Brenda Westerhold and husband, Michael, of Nevada, Mo.; a brother, Stanley Rynard and wife, Doris, of Nevada; five grandchildren, Jerod Call, Megan Allison, Amanda Willis, Ashley Bollinger and Courtney Southard; and three great-grandchildren, John, Alex and Maverick. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Allison, in 2005.
