NMS volleyball splits Joplin North

NEVADA -- The Nevada Middle School eighth grade volleyball teams split a pair of matches against Joplin North Thursday night at Nevada Middle School.

In the A game, Joplin North found itself in a hotly contested matchup, but ultimately came out on top, winning both sets by the same score, 25-23. The B game went much better for Nevada as Joplin North fell behind early and never came back, ultimately handing Nevada the victory by the final scores of 25-11 and 25-19.

The next action on the schedule for Nevada is the Pittsburg, Kan., tournament that will feature only the A team.
