Middle School cross country competes at Tri-County meet

Nevada Middle School's cross country runners competed over the weekend in the Tri-County Conference meets.

All competitors ran the same, 1.5-mile distance. Eighth grader John Quitno earned Nevada's only medal with a 13-place finish in 10 minutes, 2 seconds, while eighth grader Virginia Haverstic finished 26th and seventh graders Trenton Ellis and Luke Sudcamp finished 17th and 23rd, respectively.
