James Harry "Jim" Bagley, 56, Nevada, Mo., passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013. He was born Aug. 6, 1956, in Tulsa, Okla., to William Harry Bagley and Shirley Irene McIntire Bagley.

Jim was raised in Nevada and graduated from Nevada High School. He received a master's degree in economics from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. Jim was a very hard worker as deputy county clerk in the Vernon County Clerk's Office in Nevada for 25 years. He was dedicated to his family, was an animal lover and loved reading.

Survivors include three sisters, Sharon Hammel, Columbia, Mo., Bobbie Merzazada and her husband, David, Alexandria, Va., Peggy Bagley and her husband, Douglas Goldhamel, Evanston, Ill.; one twin brother, Bill Bagley, Webb City, Mo.; one nephew, Hassan Merzazada and his wife, Heba, state of Maryland; and two nieces, Asha Ioanou and her husband, Nick, Alexandria, Va., and Jessica Hammel, Stafford, Va. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Ozark Memorial Park, Joplin, Mo. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Ferry Funeral Home, 301 S. Washington, Nevada.
