Michael E. Wright, 54, of Clinton, Mo., died Sunday, May 23, 2004, at his home in Clinton. Memorial services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday at Vansant-Mills Chapel, Clinton. Family will receive friends 1/2 hour before the service. Family suggests contributions to Twin Lakes Hospice, Clinton, or Eagles Lodge, Clinton, and may be left at the funeral home. He was born in Fort Scott, Kan. He worked in commercial construction. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge, Clinton, and the Moose Lodge, Kansas City, Mo.

He is survived by Betty Duke, of the home; one daughter, Michelle Kimmell, Nevada; two sons, Mark Duke, Bouton, Iowa, and Mitch Duke of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Joyce Johnson, Farber, Mo., Leana Worthington, Osage Beach, Mo., Shirley Imai and Debbie Savage, all of Ottawa, Kan.; and one brother, Art Wright, Blue Springs, Mo.
