Bernadine Theresa Volkman

Bernadine Theresa Volkman, 67, Milo, died Sunday, May 30, 2004 at the Freeman Hospital in Joplin.

Funeral Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oxford with the Rev. Edmond Dunn officiating. Burial will be at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Oxford. She was born Sep. 11, 1936, in Lancona, Iowa, the daughter of Henry and Florence (Metz) Frueh.

Survivors include her husband, William Volkman of Milo; children, Virginia Volkman, Kanola, Leroy Volkman, Iowa City, Steve Volkman, Carthage, Tenn., Anne Volkman, Washington, Iowa, Glenn Volkman, Kellogg, Iowa, Mary Volkman, Scottsdale, Ariz., Susie Craff, Brighton, Iowa, and Daniel Volkman, Riverside; grandchildren; sisters, Ella Jean Bishop, Lacona, Betty Jo Thomann, Riverside, Lenora Seuferer, Chariton, Rosemary Adams, Stubenville, Ohio, and Linda Frueh, Longmont, Colo.; brothers, Leo Frueh, Dubuque, and Mel Frueh, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Wayne Volkman; and a brother, Don Frueh.
