William E. Gordon

William E. Gordon, 84, passed away Feb. 21, 2005, in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. Born in Vernon County. He was the son of the late William Walker and Anna Gordon.

Mr. Gordon is survived by his wife, Marie; daughter Barbara Rovedo, (John), of Jacksonville, Fla.; son; Darrell Gordon (Karen), of Solana Beach, Calif.; and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his eight siblings, Eula Stutesman, Lawrence Gordon (Gertie), Harry Gordon (Mildred), Mary Howard (Guy), Margaret Dresslaer (Walter), Willard Gordon (Audrey), Clark Gordon (Pearl) and Helen Tew. Mr. Gordon lived in Kansas City for many years before moving to Grand Junction, Colo., where he retired from Farmland Industries. He and his wife also spent several years in California, then Tennessee before moving to Jacksonville Beach where he lived his final years.
