Dale Buck

Dale Buck, 95, Webb City, died May 30, 2005, at 10:25 a.m., at a Webb City nursing home.

He was born on Feb. 12, 1910, in Nevada, to Joseph M. Buck and Nellie Scott Buck. He married Sarah Horning Buck on Sept. 21, 1936, in Nevada, and she survives of the home.

He retired from the Empire District Company on Dec. 1, 1975, where he had worked for more than 40 years. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Webb City since 1954.

He is also survived by a son, Ron Buck, Williamsburg, Va.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 2, at 2:30 p.m., in the chapel of Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City with the Rev. John Sherwood officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:30 p.m., until service time. Burial will be at Mount Vernon Cemetery near Nevada.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home. Arrangements are by Simpson Funeral Home in Webb City. Sympathies may be e-mailed to simpsonfh@cableone.net.
