Morris 50th anniversary

Charles and Dorothy (Shrum) Morris of Peculiar, Mo., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at a reception on Sunday, June 12, 2005, from 3 to 5 p.m., at the United Methodist Church Family Life Center on School Road in Peculiar, Mo. The Morrises were married on June 28, 1955, in Sprague, Mo.

Charles is a retired United States Air Force master sergeant, retired FAA civilian employee and owns his own consulting company. Dorothy retired as Customer Service Representative at Farmers Insurance office in Belton, Mo. The Morrises noted that their "travels and experiences have taken them to several parts of the globe and they look forward to many more exciting excursions on the journey called -- life."

Hosting the reception will be family members Elsie Shrum, Cindy and Jessica Anders, Tricia, Bill, Michelle and John Plewa, and Gary, Don and Skyler Morris. Friends and family welcome.
