Colemans celebrate 50 years of marriage

The Rev. James A. and Joyce Coleman, El Dorado Springs, will celebrate their 50th wedding aniversary with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2005, at the new Civic Center, West Spring Street, downtown El Dorado Springs.

James A. and Joyce Hess who met in high school were married on Saturday, June 18, 1955. They are the parents of two children, Carol Wood and Michael Coleman. James and Joyce have four grandchildren: Waylon, Linda, and Colby Wood, children of Carol Wood and Shelby Wood, and Christopher Coleman, son of Michael and Kathy Coleman; and one great-grandson, Javen Joseph, son of Linda.

The Colemans note that they "are thankful to a loving God who has blessed us with a wonderful family and 50 great years together." They request "no gifts please, just your presence."
