Deandra Stevens and Chase Owen exchanged wedding vows July 2, 2005, at the Rinehart Christian Church. Chris Burke solemnized the vows of the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Lance and Patty Stevens of Minnesota. She is the granddaughter of Edward and Neoma Stevens and Nancy Stewart and Stanley Lee Masters.

The groom is the son of Jim and Cam Owen of Nevada. He is the grandson of the late Joe and Sibbya Bradham and Ferrell and Betty Mae Owen.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white strapless formal gown featuring a fitted bodice and full skirt accented with tulle and beaded lace. Her 4-1/2 foot train accentuated the back of the gown. Her jewelry included white gold earrings and a diamond tiara headpiece with back veil. She carried a white and pink spring bouquet of daisies and lilies.

Tiffany Thompson attended the bride as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Deidra Bruce, sister of the bride, Kelsey Stevens, sister-in-law of the bride, and Emily Hissink, Jill Osbourn, Jill Slates, Kristen Spaur and Tiereney McKlintic. The bride's niece, Hadley Bruce, served as flower girl. The bride's sister, Delista Stevens served as candlelighter.

Trent Bickel served as best man. Groomsmen were Corey Owen, brother of the groom, and Nick Pierson, Jay Butler, Joe Hardin, Tommy Scotten, Kelly Edmonds and Kirk Simpson. The bride's nephew, Dalton Bruce, served as ring bearer.

Ushers were Lance Stevens, brother of the bride, Shane Balk, and Tim Bruce, brother-in-law of the bride.

Musical selections included the song "I Love the Way You Love Me," played during the lighting of the unity candle.

A reception at the Elks Lodge hall featured balloon decorations, candles and glitter hearts.

Following a wedding trip to Miami, Fla., the couple are making their home in Nevada.
