Linda Kay Wilson, 63, Nevada, Mo., formerly of Tina, Mo., died Jan. 4, 2006, at her home in Nevada. She was born Aug. 21, 1942, in Chillicothe, Mo., to Hubert Roger Wilson and Virginia Bernice Green Wilson.

Linda's early years were spent in the Tina area and she graduated from Tina-Avulon school in 1960. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree at Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg, Mo. She lived in Nevada since 1964 and spent the remaining years of her life here. She taught school in the Walker School District for a time. She was an active member of the First Christian Church in Nevada.

Survivors include several cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Vernon and Lula Green, and her mother, Bernice Wilson.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., on Monday, Jan. 16, at the First Christian Church in Nevada. Committal services will be held at 3 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Coloma Cemetery, Bogart, Mo.
