Robert W. (Bob) Pennock

Robert W. (Bob) Pennock, of El Dorado Springs, Mo. the son of Earl and Crete Pennock passed away at his residence Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2006. He was born on Sept. 12, 1929, in Coats, Kan.

Bob served his country it the United States Air Force. He was married lo Beulah Vickers on March 14, 1956. This next month they would have celebrated 50 years together. Bob lived what he loved, a passion for farming for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Beulal, of the home; four sons, Wayne Pennock and wife, Julie of Nevada, Mo., Gary Pennock of Deepwater, Mo., Jim Pennock of Hutchison, Kan., and Rod Pennock of Arizona; one daughter, Renee Eck and husband, Alan, of El Dorado Springs; his grandchildren, Emily Pennock, Audrey Pennock, Jessica Pennock, Andrea and Justin Mays, Kimberly Eck, Kelly Eck, Sara Eck and Cody Eck, Kristin Pennock and son, Grant, DeeDee and Dan Greenwalt and children, Shelby and Jake, Marla and Antonio Ladezma, and children, Jerod, Amanda, Venessa and Marisa, Joyce and Rich Volk and children, Josh, Sydney and Zach, Jim and Karen Pennock and children, Ryan, Shawn and Greg, Rod Pennock and children, Evan and Eric. Other survivors include two brothers, Jack Pennock of Hutchinson, and Allen Pennock of Medicine Lodge, Kan., and three sisters, Iris Gabehart, Tenita Koombs and Louise Leedy; and a host of many friends who will miss Bob very much. He was a husband, father and grandpa who will be missed so very much.

He was preceded in death by his mother, father and one brother.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m., at the Hackleman Chapel with the Rev. Joe Trussell officiating. Musical selections were provided by Ruth Brown. Interment will be in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of the Hackleman and Sons Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Kelly Eck, Justin Mays, Justin Pennock, J.P. Nielson, Chris Vickers, Cody Eck and Matt Woody. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Hale, Larry Gooden, Marvin Vickers, Dick Bartosh and Vince Pisciotta.
