Laree Jones Fine

Laree Jones Fine, age 64, Lake Lure, N.C., died March 5, 2006, at Hospice House of Forest City, N.C. She was born April 20, 1941, in Eldon, Mo., to C.H. Jones and Winnie Marie Banks Jones.

Laree was a retired human resources director. She was a member of the Fairfield Mountains Chapel in Lake Lure.

Survivors include her mother and her husband, Sam Fine of the home; son, the Rev. Sam Fine and wife Eliza, of Weaverville, N.C.; daughter, Debra Fine and husband John, of St. Louis, Mo.; brothers, Howard Jones, Columbia, Mo. and Stan Jones, Ballwin, Mo; grandchildren, Samuel, Amy, Elise, Jeremy, Erin and Jenny. She was preceded in death by grandchild, Austin, and father, C.H. Jones.

Memorial service will be at Fair Field Mountains Chapel on Thursday, March 9, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Everette Chapman officiating. Interment will be in Bills Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Lake Lure.
