Meleesa Younggren - Tom Pruett

Meleesa Younggren and Tom Pruett announce their engagement and approaching marriage.

The bride-elect, daughter of the late Linda Colvin Adams, and John Younggren, Fort Scott, graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor's degree in agriculture. She is currently the director of business development for Agri-Energy Solutions, Lubbock, Texas.

The future groom, son of Gerald and Eletra Pobst, Sikeston, Mo., received his bachelor's in political science and history from Missouri State University and a master's of accounting from Southwest Texas State University. He is a technical instructor for CentriqFoss.

The couple plans a June 10 wedding at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Olathe, Kan., followed by a dinner and dance reception at Meadowview Gardens, Bates City, Mo.
