Peterson and Scotten Wed

Shelly Peterson, adorned in an ivory two-piece, strapless gown, with chapel-length train, became the bride of Doug Scotten on April 29, 2006, at the Whitney Mountain Chapel, in Garfield, Ark. Jack Galbraith officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Greg and Ginger Peterson, of Garfield, Kay Julian of Nevada, Mo., and Dick and Angela Scotten, of Walker, Mo.

Bridal attendants were matron of honor and sister of the bride, Marsha Fitzpatrick, of Derry, N.H., bridesmaid Cara Couch of Little Rock, Ark., and flower girl Josie Peterson, Olathe, Kan., niece of the bride.

Carl Scotten, Stillwell, Kan., served his brother as best man. Groomsman was Gabe Dumond, of Stockton, Mo. Ushers were David Arnold, Walker, Mo., and Terry Potter, Troy, Mo.

A reception followed at the Lost Bridge Village Community Association Building.

After a wedding trip to Negril, Jamaica, the couple is at home in Kaiser, Mo.
