Pauline D. Tyson

Pauline D. Tyson, 87, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at Nevada Regional Medical Center following a lengthy illness. She was born Dec. 21, 1918, in Fordland, Mo., to Paul Mitchell and Lula Mae Nash Mitchell. She and Coy R. Tyson were married in 1974 in Wichita, Kan. He preceded her in death in 1983.

Pauline lived and worked in the Wichita, area. She worked for Beech Aircraft for many years and as a police officer with the Wichita Police Department for seven years. She later was a security officer at the Wichita Airport until her retirement in 1982. For the past 18 years, she has lived in Nevada.

Survivors include one son, Eugene C. Wilson, state of Georgia; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildrcn; one stepsister, Ellen Jayne, Kingman, Kan.; and one son-in-law, Robert Boyer, Nevada. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Judith Boyer and Brenda K. Tyson.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m., on Friday, July 14, at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, with Mike Hutchens officiating. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.
