Elsie Jane Wiegel

Elsie Jane Wiegel, 60, El Dorado Springs, Mo., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2008, at St. John's Health System, Springfield, Mo., following a lengthy illness. She was born Feb. 5, 1947, in Vernon County, Mo., to John Alfred Radspinner Sr. and Martha Florence Evans Radspinner.

Elsie was born in the Harwood, Mo., area and attended El Dorado Springs schools. She was a homemaker all of her life.

She is survived by her children, Carla Jones and her husband William "Dave", Lamar, Preston "Pete" Wiegel and his wife Leana, El Dorado Springs, and Quentin Wiegel, El Dorado Springs; grandchildren, Cass White, El Dorado Springs, ShyAnn Jones, Lamar, Cissie Wiegel, El Dorado Springs, David Green, Bronaugh, Jo Danna Gapan, El Dorado Springs, Anthony Gapan, El Dorado Springs, and Samantha Gapan, El Dorado Springs; her mother, Martha Radspinner, Laquey; four sisters, her twin sister, Ella Mae Primrose, Blue Springs, Mo., Kate Landreth, Laquey, Martha Ann Cooper, Slippery Rock, Pa., and Judy Lynn Ross, El Dorado Springs; and one brother, John A. Radspinner, Moundville. She was preceded in death by her father.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan, 25, at Leffler Cemetery, north of Dederick, with the Rev. Terry Mosher officiating.

Friends may call now and until 9 a.m. on Friday morning at Ferry Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7- 8 p.m.,Thursday, at the funeral home.
