Marjorie Caroline Grabau, age 97, of Nevada, passed away on Saturday morning Feb. 9, 2008, at the Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, after a long and full life. Marjorie was born on Aug. 7, 1910 in Lincoln, Mo., to Henry and Caroline Rohning Wenig. On Feb. 21, 1933, she was married to Fred J.L. Grabau in Kansas City, Mo., and he preceded her in death in 1978.

Marjorie was raised in Lincoln and attended school there. She spent most of her life on the family farm in Cole Camp, Mo., and was active in many church and community activities there. Marjorie has lived in Nevada since 1985 when she came to be near her daughter. She enjoyed bridge and her many friends in Nevada and was a member of the Jolly Homemakers Club.

She is survived by her daughter Mary Reinert and her husband Wayne of Nevada, two grandsons, Sam Reinert and his wife Heather of Minneapolis, Minn., David Reinert and his wife Celtina of Kansas City, two great-granddaughters, Lucia Caroline Reinert and Amelia Jane Reinert of Minneapolis and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nevada with Pastor Kim Osborn officiating. Interment will follow at 3 p.m., in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp, Mo. Friends may call now until 9 a.m., on Tuesday at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
